Jaisalmer is on the extreme west part of Rajasthan along side the Pakistan Border. It is a very colourful city. The city has a fort on the outskirts and offers a great place for a tourist. It has many shops offering typical rajasthani dresses and attire. Apart from the fort, you can also go to “Sam-Dunes”, which is around 50-60 kms from Jaisalmer City in the middle of desert.
